いつも英語がスペイン語を先に書いてしまうので、今日は日本語から。
アメリカに来て２回週末を迎え、２か所車で行ける散歩できそうなところに行ってみた。
１か所目は川沿いにそって歩くコース。車で１０分もかからないところにある、ダウンタウンに近い場所。川の水もきれいだし、緑がたくさんあって散歩するにはとてもいいところで人間の私がとても気に入りました。犬たちも新しい臭いに興奮しまくり。怖いとしっぽが伸びちゃうショコラもこの日はしっぽがくるんくるん。
２か所目はRanchoと名のついた公園の犬散歩広場。ここの方が川より家に近かった。ここは壮大だった。言い過ぎだけど、小さいときに見ていた大草原の小さな家を思い出した。草に隠れて小川が流れていて、興奮しまくった犬たちに引きずられて、おろしたてのスニーカーが泥まみれ。メキシコではほぼ歩きたがらなかったダックスのちーちゃんまで引っ張る引っ張る。
そして気づいたこと。ここにいる犬たちがリードしていない。メキシコでは散歩のルール（法律？）で犬はリードをつけないといけない。日本はたぶんドッグランでだけリードを外せる（のかな？）だけどここの子たちが自由に走り回ってる。うちの子たちリード外したらどうなるんだろう。。。ほかの犬に嚙まれたり、他の犬を嚙んだりしたらどうしよう。。と心配になりリードは外さなかった。めちゃくちゃ喜んで散歩してくれたから、人間まで泥んこになってもまたここに来よう、そして少しずつリードを外してお友達を作ってあげよう、と人間は心に誓った。
そしてべとべとになった犬たちのお風呂にその後は連れて行った。お風呂については次回記す。
We spent 2 weekends so far since we came to the US and we brought our dogs to 2 places close to our home by car.
The first place that we went was along the river. It took less than 10 minutes and it was very close to downtown. The river water is clean and there were lots of greens so it was very nice to place to walk your dogs and moreover I liked there a lot. Our dogs were very excited to new smell. Usually Chocolat’s tail straights up when she is scared but her tail was curled this time.
The second place was named Rancho something, and where we went was a dog park. This place was closet to our home. This place was maginificent. It is probably too much to say this but this place reminded me of “Little house on the Prairie” when I used to watch when I was a little. *if you don’t know this TV show, you are proofed as young generation. There were little strams hidden with grasses. My excited crazy dogs dragged me into the stream and my new tennis shoes got covered with dirt. Chichan, the duschund, she didn’t like walking so much in Mexico but in the US she started walking a lot and loves it.
One thing I noticed in this place was that any single of dog had leash. In Mexican law (?regulations), you must use the leash to your dog when you walk on the street. Probably in Japan you can take it off when you bring them to a fenced dog park, but in this place dogs were running around . I was worried if my dogs bite another dog or if another dog bites my dog..so we didn’t take it. However this human sweaed that she will bring them here again although her tennis shoes gets dirty and that she will try to take the leash out little by little so that her dogs can make friends and run around this place.
Later on, the dogs were taken to the shower place. I will write about it another day.
